Does anyone know of a dependable source where I can obtain chrome replacement wheels for my 78. I want the original style, chromed not polished.

I got my OEM aluminum wheels chrome-plated in Jan. of '02 for less than $600.00, INCLUDING shipping via UPS & insurance!!! They are immaculate; best $ I've ever spent on a car! If any C3-members are interested, send me an E-mail, and I'll give you the company (outside of D.C.) name & number.....

What is the name of the company that chromed your aluminum wheels? Are they holding up well? Are they hard to keep clean and how durable are they?

My aluminum wheels were chrome-plated in January of '02 by EAST COAST PLATING, Capital Heights, Md. (just outside of D.C.). Their phone # is: 301/350-0393, and I dealt with 'Vince'. They were $135/each, and they've held-up GREAT! I wash them before the brakes (and wheels) get hot (so they won't 'spot') with water and a wash-mit. Chevrolet shoulda done this THEMSELVES; why they didn't
If I can help anybody else, gimme an E-mail.....
