I know it isn't original, but has anyone put a chrome breather top on a BB 73 with air induction hood and Quadrajet carb. If so where did you find it .

I've got one for my '74. Got it from Ecklers. Mine's a little block, the they are the same tops(lids). Just the base is different.
The one I have is an original top that is chromed.
Ya gotta be careful if you do a lot of shows in the summer, with a chrome lid and the hood open. The sun reflecting off of them will burn the paint on the hood.
I always put a towel over mine, or you can buy neat slip-covers for them that are silver, with Crossed Flags on them.

Thanks Joel and also about the reflection.. I have seen people with them covered at shows.. that explains it...
... duh...Looks like Zip's carries it too.. replaces the black one
