Jegs has a complete kit for 369.99. Think about it....its only there when you want it to be, and You can add up to 175 HP just by flippin the Switch....cheap and effective HP and you'll still have your stock motor for emissions testing. |thumb| |thumb| |thumb| . My $.02

You are right, NITROS kicks butt in a big way. It is probably the best dollar per hp gain out there. I thought about it. Right now, I won't use it for one reason...takes up too much room in the back. I go to a lot of shows and by the time I pack chairs, small cooler, umbrellas ( yes, I like my luxuries ) and the audio equipment...there just isn't much room left...especially with the top down.

Isn't it "bad" for your engine? Just what I've heard, I don't know.

Glenn, you can carry all that in your ride with the top down? I find that funny only because there's a certain 75 in my club that always puts their stuff in a friend's C5! |smile|

I've thought about it before too, but I want to do some other mods first. NOS isn't bad for your engine if used correctly. If you use a large boost for a longer time on a stock engine then you'll probably cause some damage. You can get some stronger engine parts to help reduce the risk of breaking something too.

I think I am going to invest in that kit. I have a tool box with a couple of screw drivers this may be a mod I can probably do myself. I have never priced out nitrous kits before but I am assuming that $349.99 is not that bad, eh?

I have also heard that it will not harm the engine if used correctly. Used correctly means that it is NOT there to make your car go 3 or 4 grand over red line. Don't go past red line and only use it if and when you need it and you should not have any problems. If and when you need it means exactly that....you don't need it to get out of your driveway. |no-no| Other than that, everything else if fair game |biggrin|

Darla,
At last count, I only had one friend and she can not afford a C5. I guess I either have to expand my circle of friends or give her more money out of my paycheck so she can buy a C5 and we can both ride around in it |devil| . Actually, you would be surprised just how much my wife and I manage to cram into the back of the C3 with the top down. I think I forgot to mention the beach umbrellas before. I bet I could even make room for a whole packet of $100.00s if someone would be kind enough to send me one |smile|
