Anyone have a recomendation for a cam that will give my 77 350 cu in L-48 a bit of a "loap", thanks, Gene
what are you really wanting to do with the car..
good balance between torque/hp curves
good hp curve, good torque curve, high peak on either one.
you can get a good sound any number of ways.

I just want to have a better sound while idling, nothing too radical, I have had several vette's, this one is for driving not racing. I promised my wife. Gene

if you want a better sound.. change the mufflers, install headers, or both.

Gene, just a suggestion.
I have a Comp Cams High Energy Hydraulic cam in my 74 L48. It has a good, somewhat choppy, idle and is not so wild that you can't drive it on the street. It is Comp Cams part number 12-210-2, grind #268H. I also put on a pair of Magnaflow mufflers, and between the two, you can tell its not a stock engine.

Thanks DJ I might give that a try.
Joel this might sound stupid but what you are saying about the timing, Is that true?
