Brake Fluid Level

What or how do I determine the level of braking fluid in the master cyclinder?  one bowl level is half the other about 1/4 inch below a metal ring marking in the cylinder bowl.

I keep mine about an 1/8 inch from the top...I don't like to fill it completly full, just don't let it get to low and maybe suck some air.

Thanks for the info. I am not a mechanical guy and usually let someone esle do it. Its time I do some of my own care.

If you don't have one, buy yourself a Haynes Manuel for your year Corvette. They are great. Also get a AIM Manuel for your specific year. Armed with these two things you can tackle almost any project on your car.
