Being from Upper Michigan I only drive this car probably May to October then dream about driving it all winter. My 79 needs brake calipers, any suggestions? Stainless steel sleeves? O-ring pistons? Also, braided teflon brake hoses or "old fashioned" rubber? |toungecool|

If you can afford it go with the top of the line calipers. One thing I'd read about the braided hoses is that their inside diameter is smaller than the plain rubber hoses. Double check that before making the switch.

And I've added flushing the brake lines to both my winter storage prep and spring roll out routines. That's probably overkill, but I definitely want the brakes to work when they're needed!

The addition of both steel braid lines and o ring calipers will give you eye popping stopping ! I run them both with a hydroboost ,,,

The brakes are the one thing we really need to work right. I will get the new o-ring calipers and braided hoses then. Changing the fluid sounds like a good idea and easy to do, moisture in the system is more of a problem than I was aware of. Thanks for the help. |saluteflag|
