   I am planning to purchase the Codington Junk Yard Dog Wheels for my 71 coupe . We are considering 17x8 rims with 245/45r 17 tires. Any thoughts?

They sound great, Wally, and I'm sure will look great too.  I had 17X8 American Racing Torque Thrust II's on my 74 and they were fine.  Be sure to post some pictures.
