Could someone tell me what the proper intake manifold gasket is for a 68 L71 427/435? Are the ports the round or the square special hi-performance parts? Thanks

If you have the 427/435 heads, the ports are rectangular. Oval ports are the more common variety that were used on the 427/390 and 427/400 and most of the 396 and 402 engines.

Yup....they should be square ports if L71/435.
