Im replacing the master cylinder in my 82 because it was leaking and dripping fluid down the face of my booster. I really hope the booster is still OK and think it is. I replaced the master cylinder with a new delco unit and am sure that all the air was out when I bench bled it. When putting it back in the car I fumbled the brake line fittings and brake fluid leaked from the new MC where the brake line fittings attach. Do I need to try to bench bleed the thing again? Im really not sure I can attach the brake line fittings any faster the second time around due to limited workspace (imagine that on a C3). I also plan to replace the old rubber lines to the calipers as well and have new stainless braid ones on hand. Should I try to get the brakes bled and working with the new master before installing the new stainless lines or do it all a the same time? Advise needed before go any further. Go ahead and replace the lines, then bleed the whole system at once...no sense in doing it twice.

Ya may as well wait and do it all at once at the end of your install,even if you bench bleed the master first,your still gonna loose fluid out of it when you start dissconnecting lines leave the cover off of the master.while you are working on the lines keep checking and adding fluid if needed to keep it full.are you replacing all of the lines from front to back or just the lines at the wheels?

Ron, Im just doing the flexible lines at the wheels. Thanks for the advise guys, Ill get the car off the wheels and do the stainless lines tonight and see if my "home made" pressure bleeder will actually work.
