My AC compressor was starting to sling oil out, so I cut the belt off not realizing it was the drive belt, can I just resize the alternator belt and run without a belt on the compressor? Should it not be that way anyhow?  The air pump was removed before I got the car.

Thanks,

Rick

I removed my a/c compressor some time ago. To by-pass it won't hurt anything.

Thanks, I went to NAPA and used a 53 5/8 inch belt, seems to be just fine.

I need to update my sig... the yellow 03' is gone, replaced with an 03' 6-speed vert in spiral grey...
