baffle removal

Have new side exhaust pipes, love the look but the sound is almost too quiet.
Is there a way to remove part of the baffle to promote a deeper sound without getting too loud??
Just trying to get that throaty sound back?

are you kidding? that car doesn't need a loud bark. that would be like giving Pamela Anderson, Lauren Bacall's voice. whoa! if you don't know who Lauren Bacall is, ask Ken.

if so hooker has two different kinds of muffler

a glass pack and a reverse flow..

you wind up pulling them.... could you let me borrow one.. i need to get exact dimensions for the guys at www.classicchambered.com so they can create a slip in chambered muffler for the hooker pipes..

ill send you deposit, or whatever.. I just need an example for them to use.

I know very well the sultry voice of Ms. Bacall, Humphrey Bogart was a lucky man.
I want that combination of Pam Anderson with Bacall's raspy tone ( a guy can dream )
As far as the pipes being hooker, I do not know as they were on the car when I purchased.
If I do wind up doing some re-fit to the mufflers I will help you with whatever dimension specs you need

Scott, it just struck me funny that you would be "tweaking" the way your car sounds. looks really great. I guess there's always some improvement to be made. just part of the fun in owning one.

you probably have the reverse flow mufflers.. they are pretty mellow..
