I have seen many different types of wheels on this site. But when I finally decided on Crager SS Mags I got a rude awakening in that they wouldn't fit without spacers. I'm not convinced I want spacers. Would some of you guys with after-market wheels let me know what brands and sizes (if other than 15X8) you have. Please specify if spacers are required and size of spacer if known. I have a 78 vette. Thanks

Hi Darrel, you can get many different wheels that will just bolt on. I have 20" American Racing TT IIs all around and they were a bolt on job

I ran 15X7 Cragars with spacers for almost a year. I am now bact to stock wheels....Due to the locals unable to get the wheels balanced correctly. The spacers may or may have not been a factor in the balance problem. I would be glad to sell you my old Cragars if you are interested.... |laugh|

Hi,
I just picked up a set of Cragar SS 15x8's and was wondering |headscratch| what kind of spacers are required for a 1979 'vette?

Thanks,
Andy

I'm using 255 fronts and 285 rears, I could use 295 rears.

As for the 15x8 Gragars you will find out how much the spokes hit the brake calipers and that is how much spacer you'll need.

You say your wheels are not balanced? I would be interested in them. I am running stock also, but I really like the Cragar SS look.
