Does anyone know a substitute spark plug to replace the AC R45TS Acniter11? I need the shorter plug to clear my wrapped headers. Thanks C3 79 L82.

I have never seen AC spark plug shorter than that. You could always take the wrap off of the headers and have them Jet-Hot coated. I was amazed at how much cooler my friend's '66 427 with cast iron manifolds ran after we had them coated. It sure made tuning a lot easier when you didn't have to wait a half-hour between runs for it to cool off.

Thanks, I wasn't looking for shorter than the R45TS just another manufacturer as these are no longer available in shorter style. On the C3 face book site I was told Accel makes a U groove header plug #8199 that works. I ordered a set from Advance auto parts.
