Not sure Joel, what do you think is missing? Anyone got any photos of anything different, I don't think I'm missing anything.

It looks like the seal is missing on the pass side...may just be the photo, and me failing eyeholes... I circled the area in question...

Very nice Mark ! I've painted a new one and an old one, and they are both showing signs of rust. I could be doing something wrong. Paint, prep ? I'd like to try one of them chrome ones once, but I'm afraid it may not last ( kinda pricey ) . That brake fluid is murder on stuff.aceinthehole2007-06-19 12:13:29

try painting it with a rust encapsulant, like POR 17 or the stuff you can get from Eastwood. It works pretty good.

For master cylinder paint I've used the spray can "detail cast" look paint. Using a firm bristle brush, I'll spray the paint into the cap, wet my brush in it and then "scrub" it onto the surface of the master cylinder.  Of course hit the surface of that master cylinder with a scotch bright pad to clean it up a little before hand.

Vette(s): 1972 conv., sunfire yellow, blk interior, blk vinyl and convertible top. Off frame restoration with American Speed 383 stroker engine producing 500hp plus a 200hp NOS system. MSD ignition. Hooker super competition headers with chambered exhaust.
Now that is one heck of an improvement Mark....Looks Great. Now get that master cylinder cleaned up, blast those exhaust manifolds and coat them and you're ready to impress any judge who might be judging the engine compartment at a show.
