82 Corvette Diverter valves Rough idle and engine dying out

My 82 starts with no problem. But would not idle and then dies out. Years ago I change the diverter valve (used unit) ran fine without problems. Now it started again. Wondering if anyone know where I can get new diverter valves or how to repair them.

Any advice is appreciated. Can drive car, would just run rough and dies out.

A diverter valve shouldn't have any effect on how the engine runs. The EGR valve, however will. Since it is an '82, I would suggest scanning the ECM for any trouble codes that might be stored, and troubleshoot from there.
