Where on the car can I find the rear end ratio stamped? I can find the codes on the internet to tell me what thecode means, but I have not yet found anything on the car to tell me the code. the undeside of the car is kind of grimy( 33 years of leaks and road use). Any info will be greatly appreciated. Also is there a book or a place on line where I can find this type of info for other optins on thecar.

Look Here to locate the gear ratio code. It is on the bottom of the diff, just in front of the spring. It will be stamped in, and some of the characters may not be visible, or may not be stamped well.
