I have a 73 L48 with a/c. I am looking for info regarding what the stock cowl induction airbox should look like. None of the books that I have show a good picture.

When I bought this car a year ago, it had a K&N chrome box, but the previous owner also gave me what I thought to be the original cowl induction box. But the cowl box doesn't fit... too tall. It may not be the correct one???

This engine also has a edelbrock performer manifold with an edelbrock 1405 carb with an electric choke add-on. I called edelbrock and they said that the height of my intake-carb is within thousandths of the stock one, minus the electric choke.

Anyone got a picture of the stock box?? Got an extra box? Any ideas....

Rick

Thanks. The one I have looks like the correct one but does not have a PCV tap and may be taller than the one pictured? |saluteflag|
