Put a new spring into the rear of my 73 and now the rear end "seems" to sit higher than most. Considering wear of an old one and sagging it still seems too high.....Can it be adjusted to bring the rear end down like maybe a 3/4 inch or so....just looks odd to me.. |thumb|

If you reused the bolts from the old spring you probably can't adjust it down any more. When I swapped out the rear spring I ordered a pair of extended bolts and those allowed me to drop the ride height down some.

Get yourself a set of extended bolts, and you can dial the hieght to just where you want.you shouldn't reuse the old bolts sometimes the fiber locks wont hold.If you dont like the look of the long end of the bolt sticking down put them in upside down with the long end and the lock nut on the swing arm. |wavey| |saluteflag| |withstupid| ron 78
