Vette(s): 1972 conv, 4-speed, 350, 200hp, numbers match, rally wheels, war bonnett yellow w/white top. good condition, nice driver.
If you are still having a problem with leakage, I have used clear nail polish to stop leaks. It is not affected by gas, and needs to cure for a couple days. It will take a couple coats. I did a stand pipe in a carb from my 1974 Hondamatic motorcycle. The dealer said it could not be fixed, and charged me $80.00 to tear it apart, and I had it off the bike. Still works and no leaks.

Thank you, that's something I've never heard before. Will keep it in mind if needed down the road. I haven't put the carb back on the car yet, so I don't know if I fixed the issue.
