Ok folks i got my heads back today and i was wondering what sending units should be located in the heads of my 69 427? There are none currently in mine now. Any help is appriciated.

Temp sender is in the left side head(driver's)
Your oil pressure is in the block, left side and to the rear, kind of above the oil filter. Put a plug in the other head. Be sure to put a thread sealer on the plug.

Thanks Dave! I'm going to pick those sending units up now along with some new plugs (the old ones were ugly).

I had trouble locating the "correct" temp sender, the end on the sender wouldn't fit my new wiring harness. If your harness hasn't been molested, you need the sender with a "bullet" end on it. All I could find were the thumb tack type. I made a short lead to hook them together so I would't have to mess up the end on the harness.
