Does any know what the correct transmission code is for the 1982 THM700-R4? Also my friends has a code of 9YA054N stamped to his 1980 corvette, what is this?

The "YA" signifies Corvette, tho an '80 would have a 350 trans. Does the '80 have a 700 trans in it for some reason?
The 700 was designated MD8 as far as RPO codes. Different rear gear ratios would specify different transmission codes. However, for the 700 in the '82, they were all "YA" units.(codes are stamped into the casting)
The code for an '80 with the 350 would be JC with the 305 engine(California), and TW with the 350.(Federal)
