should the casting date on back of block mate the stamp pad on right front of block on a 71 454?

Vette(s): 1972 LT-1 convertible with factory air. 2017 Black Rose Grand Sport M7 convertible.

My LT-1 assembly date is 1 month after the block casting date. I don't know what the min and max time frame would be between casting and assembly.
