Did the L36 have double roller timing chain from the factory? Mine has a double roller and I am trying to figure out if it is the original configuration or not. Engine has been rebuilt but not sure if timing chain setup has been replaced. Thanks.

AFAIK, Gm never used a double roller chain/gears in any engine of our eras. Since the engine has been rebuilt, I would have to say that's when it got the upgrade....and a good one at that. Thumbs Up
