Vette(s): White '79 Corvette. It's a driver.
Has anyone ever seen aftermarket 16 X 8 factory look a like alloys for a
C-3?
I thought I saw an ad for these about four years ago in a Corvette magazine. Since I had'nt bought a Corvette yet, I did'nt really pay it too much attention. However, I can't find anything on these wheels currently.
(The alloys that came on my '79 were pretty nasty. I put on a set of 15 X 8 Rallyes and I think they look great. However, If I return to the alloys I'd like the 16"s if they make them.)

I know they make 16" Rally rims, but I don't recall ever seeing 16", stock look alloys...I'll bet there are some out there somewhere!
Problem will be getting any decent tires in a 16" size....

I know I'm in the distinct minority here, being a Goodyear loyalist...but IMHO they make a fantastic tire for Corvettes: the Eagle F1 GS-D3. I have 'em on the '96. And they come in several 16" fitments as well. They're not cheap, but then quality rarely is...

If you find any info please post it here.  That's something I would possibly be interested in down the line.
16x8 wheels are actually stock Camaro Z28 (LS1) size, so there are plenty of good tire options.

I think the alloys are beautiful when they're in nice shape.

Lets keep this alive. Maybe someone will know something.

I found these (and the needed spacers) on eBay.  16x8 and I'm running BFG T/As.  Since this picture was taken I've replaced the C4 logo center caps with a red outline bowtie.

Norsky,
Those are very, very nice wheels! They look great!!

A nice option to consider if no one comes up with the 16" X 8" alloys.

Thanks for the (tasteful looking) input.
