79 turn signal arm is the bent model and arm comes off switch when you use it,and is a bit stiff to lock it in position,any fixes or new parts need?
they are dear to buy new arm.switch is not so dear.

Sounds like the switch is busted/worn out, they are only plastic and not too hard to changeout. Just don't get in the way of the steering lock ring when you release the circlip that holds it on the steering column.
