1978 Vette. Under the arm rest there is a relay with an orange wire and a yellow wire. (also a ground). Does anyone know what the yellow wire connects to?

Yellow wire goes to the back of the radio(stock). From the fuse panel it goes into the radio for power and right back out to power the power antenna. It's "switched" inside the radio to extend the antenna when the radio is turned on. Mike

When I have hanging wires, I make them visible and tell people it's for the passenger eject feature and I will put it back very soon if they keep on asking questions...
Seriously, I think I saw a thread somewhere here where someone has downloadable wiring diagrams for almost all years.
What I did is order one on the web that was laminated; this way, it's rigid when you manipulate it and I can put my greasy hands on it without worrying. Well worth the 20$ I paid for.

I purchased a shop manual from one of the corvette groups selling parts and all the wiring diagrams are in there. Well worth the 34 + shipping and if you have other issues at a later time you have the manual to refer back to. If you want to know who I got it from just drop me an email. Not sure if I can give a vender name on here and dont want to break any rules.
