When I turned on my wipers yesterday just to see if they worked, there was this "ticking" someplace behind me in the hatch area. Never heard it before and I can't really tell where it's coming from. What the heck is it and how can I fix it?

Dar, under the compartment cover, pass side there is a relay. It is under the "Plastic Tub" and against the pass seat back. That is what you are hearing. Sound like it might be going bad.

Thanks so much! I figured it was a relay, but I just wasn't sure about it. Chris, how the heck do I fix it? Is it something that I can do myself? I like to do as much as I can you know. |biggrin|

Yes!! Go to a Chevy garage and get the relay. All you have to do is unplug yours and plug in the new one. Piece of cake |smokin|

those relays are very expensive, all they do is control the delay. I fried mine on accident, so i just cut its herness and by-passed it, wiper work on low and hi, just no delay in the first position
