Ive checked the switch and seems to have a good ground, wipers do not come on. Thinking of removing the motor maybe just seized up, car never sees rain and never need wipers to go on. What steps are required for removal

Raise the wiper door all the way open, and then unplug all the electrical.
In the wiper bay area, remove the nut that holds the lever arm to the wiper motor shaft, and remove the lever. Remove the bolts holding the motor assy to the firewall.
You may have to remove the wiper door on your's to get to the lever arm, I'm not sure. With the wiper door fully open, there may be enough room to get to it.

Yes Joel is right..you have to remove the grill part in front of the wiper door to get at that nut..have to pry off the arm also..mine didn't pop right off but it will with the nut removed.its a twister coming out if you have the shielding in place..I removed the top that covers the cap that let's everything move a bit..there is someone who does rebuild these things..I found them at Carlisle but can't find their card..I will keep looking for it as I need a part for mine also.

Well seized up..I guess anything is possible..I would bet more on a bad connection at the motor..its a 3 wire connector easy to get to on the drivers side of the car..sometimes just taking the connector off and on a few times knocks the tarnish off..try it with the key on engine off..just wiggle it and see if anything happens..make sure the wiper door is open all the way..it has a small switch that gives the motor ground..that switch is right above the wiper motor that you can see it contact when the door opens..

that's good that it does somethin when you turn it on..that tick noise could be the washer pump..its relay sticks sometimes and does make a loud tick noise when you first turn it on and the motor doesn't spin to actuate the pump..there is one wire Red color that goes to the pump that is separate from the other three..it is the main power wire and can be hard to disconnect..check for power on both sides of the connector by back probing each side..the ground is thru that pesky switch in the wiper door..if you remove the rubber plug on the front of the wiper door actuator you can move the door up and down manually. The first time you have to push it up by putting a screwdriver in that hole and push..also. put a test light on the positive port on the back of the alternator and the point on the motor it should light up if the ground is there..I had to move the door several times before the switch started to move..I actually found one of these switches at Carlisle in the original GM box..he wanted 75$ for it..so I went home and made it work..
