Wiper issues

Had an issue when my wipers shorted (long story on another post). When I turn on the wipers, a crackling sound started coming from the control relay. Found that it was humming with 4 volts that should not be there.
The motor was shot as well. I replaced the switch and the motor, but forgot where the 2 wires go that connect to single leads, besides the main connector. I didn't mark them (kick me please), and don't want to go down the "short in the wiring" road again. Itsa '79 with delay. Can someone help?
