Until this year my wiper door opened when wipers were turned on.
Wipers will work when the door is manually opened.  Any ideas on what vacuum parts to check

When you turn on the wipers, an electric signal is sent to a solenoid valve behind the tach.  That sends vacuum to the actuator.  If by manual, you mean using the override valve under the steering column, then it has to be the solenoid or the hoses to it.  If you mean actually lifting the door, then the whole system is suspect, including the relay and actuator.  Each component can be tested individually.

Good luck
Larry

I had the same problem, check to see if you have vacumn at the wiper door actuator, we can go from there.
