Vette(s): 1978 silver aniversiry

Hello everyone

I am restoring a 1978 coupe that the previous owner painted a hideous stripe down the side and installed a wing on the rear. I know what to do with the stripe (lots of sanding and a paint job) but my ? is has anyone removed a wing and how difficult is it. and how do you show a pic of your car

                                     Thanks for any help David

Don't know if this helps, but all the wings I've seen simply bolt on. Then they could be 'molded in with 'glass/bondo to smooth out the seams. If your's is molded on, you have no choice but to cut it off. Bodywork will be required to fill in the bolt holes, but it shouldn't be too bad, unless 'Goober' installed it! As far as posting your pics, check out the 'support' forum, as there is a thread on 'how to' on posting pics. If you're still having trouble, just ask, and one of the tech 'gurus' will help Good luck!

Thinks I was hoping it just bolted on , I guess the next step is to get under it and see if I can access the bolts
