Hi Listers
I need some help with trying to repair my swindshield wiper motor on my 68 - the wiper switch does nothing - just makes a clicking sound in the dash - (relay?)
when the wiper door sitch makes contact the motor runs - even with the switch off and also when the 3 wire flat connector is plugged in it gets hot ? Is there any information out there that shows what the wires do and a way to meter out the motor unit ? thanks Mike Duffy

Had a similar problem with mine about a month ago. Had been fixing a minor gauge cluster problem and afterward had wiper issues. With switch on, the wiper door would open, but no movement of wipers. If I pushed wash, wipers would cycle once and then park. Turns out I had accidentally flipped the three-wire flat connector. Try flipping yours over and see if that solves anything.
