on my 78 the windshield bottle will not hold fluid. So either there is a crack in the plastic or the hose underneath is cut.  My question it looks like there is no way to remove the bottle wihtout moving the brake debooster. Does anyone have experience  on this ..will the washer fluid bottle slide out without removing anything else, if I have to replace mine??? thanks again..

Mark,
Are you sure that the pump on the bottom of the bottle isn't leaking? I was able to drop the bottle down and out of my 79. Had to take off the trangular fender guard below the charcoal canister and the canister itself (now eliminated...)

Good luck!

I will look into that. I have not removed anything yet so not usre where the leak is, fluid just flows out after refilled but have not had time to loosen it and look under. Maybe the bottle or line or pump like you stated, as soon as it warms up a little will look into it, just trying to get a few tips from those who have.. makes the job easier.  Thanks Mark

how hard to drop the charcoal canister and what is the need/purpose of the canister??? still seems tight but thik the pump is gone and a hole in the tank or line.... will give it a try, any surprises on the canister to remove and tank??? seems easy but you know how that goes??? mark
