I had a new windshield installed yesterday, saturday no less, and I thought I would give the guy a plug. If you need glass work done in the Oklahoma City area this guy did a fantastic job. His name is Bill and he has All Star Glass of OKC. 405-424-5277. He came out about 3:00 yesterday and he had ordered the correct windshield, did a great job of removing and cleaning up my trim. Wire brushed everything, used a rust inhibiting primer on everything and installed it all in about 2 hours. It looks great. He's an old car guy like the rest of us.

Thats awsome Lonnie, I need to find someone like that in my area. A previous owner had a problem with the D-Side wiper and actually scratched the windshield on my pacer, it looks kinda bad. I need to get my windshield replace sometime.

Same here on the '81 Mark. I'd better look in to my Haggerty coverage. I know AAA is good about windshield coverage, at least I only have to put out the $100 deductable

Did you bother with date coded glass or just get a new windshield?
Can't decide whether to spend the money on date coded glass when I do.
I would love to replace mine due to sand sparkle, but do not not know who to call here in Hot Springs. I am sure not many installers know how to install old Vette glass.

I'm sorry guy's I forgot to mention the total price was $289.00. That is a replacement windshield. I did'nt bother with dates or anything. I'll look and see what #'s and stuff it has on it and let you know.
