Hello, I need a driver's door for my 1976 Corvette. Someone on craigslist in my neighborhood has one for a 1978. He's telling me that they are different because it doesn't have the lock knob on the door and different door panels.
Could someone please tell me if the door would work?
If so, what kind of conversion is necessary (parts, etc.) to make it work for my '76? Thanks in advance!

Do you have your old door? You will have to change all the internal mechanics for the lock arm and knob, mounting, mirror mounting different.

John is right. If you have your old door, you can transfer everything over. I believe there is one mounting bracket for the door pull that is welded on, but you can probably screw it on.
