Hey all,
I have a 72 and inside the engine compartment there are what I would describe as mudflaps covering the front wheel assemblies. I am missing one on the passengers side. There are screws that once appeared to hold one in place. Does anyone:
a) Know what these are called?
b) Know where to get one?
c) Think I should I be wasting my time on this minute detail, or drop it and move on to something a little less anal?

They're referred to as A-arm flaps. Most any Corvette resto house should have them. I looked at the Corvette Central catalog and they sell them in pairs for $12.65. Their part number is 313011. It says the flaps have push in fasteners.
It's not anal to have them. Chevy or any other company wouldn't put them in if they weren't needed. They keep water, mud, and other assorted crud out from flying up into the engine bay.
