felt something hit my clutch foot... this dual fuse m80 looking thing is hanging by its two fuses...

wondering what it is and what it does...

Corvette Bronze (993) is a pretty color.  Have seen a few over the years.

I don't recall seeing something like that under the dash of "The Toy" when I had it.  But then I didn't do much poking around under the dash.  Whatever it is it looks like it has been there for quite awhile.

Looks like a capacitor to me, best I can tell by the pics. Corvettes have quite a few capacitors in the electrical systems to combat electrical noise, mostly in the radio. Tape or otherwise secure it back up under the dash in a safe place, and forget about it.

greetings...

searched c3 capacitor... after finding threads and photos figger it is the capacitor that is supposed to stop the clicking noise through the radio speakers when you press the brake pedal...

thanks for the intel...
