Is the alternator on the 82 a 10SI, 12si or 15si? The alternator I have is a NAPA so I can't idenify it.

My supplier says all C3s used a 10SI. He believed they were correct for all years, and was certain they fit.
That's the best I can do.

For us under-educated peoples, what is the 10SI, 12SI and 15SI designation?

I just happened to find a reference in the service manual that says that the 82 has a 15si alternator. I must have missed it the first time I read it. Madelectrical is a very good site with good info. I have used it before.
