I decided for a more streamline look to take the alarm key out and fill the hole. Now, my dad is an electrician and I'm not dumb... but I don't wanan mess anything up. so, after I remove the key lock what do I do witht eh attached wires? Should I join them with a wire nut, vut them off, ground them, what? Also I found this weird switch that was just laying in the car next to the alarm swith. It has a plunger and a ground/positive so, I assume its a reset switch, but for what?

Louis, you can remove the key switch for the alarm, and just tape up the ends of the wires. If you tie them together, the alarm will be "on" all the time. Cut the ends off if you want, but I would just tape them up, myself.
The little plastic switch is the alarm safety switch. This was added to the alarms in '75, and was put there in case some thief popped the key switch out to dis-arm the system, this switch would set the alarm off. Kind of a "back-up" switch. (It is also the same switch used on the headlights to show if they were all the way up or not.) You can simply unplug this one. It should have been attatched to a plastic shield under the fender key switch, with the plunger touching the L-shaped terminal of the key-switch.
