Hello,

I tried searching for the answer to this on this forum before posting this question (as well as on Google), but did not see a hard and true answer.  My '76 has the original aluminum slot wheels on it.  Can anyone confirm that their size is in-fact 15 x 8 wheels, and not 15 x 7?   They look like the ones at the following link:

I am looking to replace the wheels with a more modern-looking one, and want to confirm that the originals are 15 x 8.   Thanks!

Vette(s): 1972 LT-1 convertible with factory air. 2017 Black Rose Grand Sport M7 convertible.

As far as I know, from 69 on, all wheels were 15x8.

Since the rally wheels are 15 X 8, pretty sure the factory aluminum wheels are too. But you could check with the aftermarket and see.

Vette(s): 1972 conv, 4-speed, 350, 200hp, numbers match, rally wheels, war bonnett yellow w/white top. good condition, nice driver.

Steel ralleys were standard.  The slotted aluminum ones were optional in 76'.

15"x8" is correct. The set on my '74 are original from a '76, and they are 15"x8" and marked so. All of the rims from '69 up are 15"x8", steel or aluminuminum.
