Just picking up a '79 with painted tops and want to buy glass tops. I've found several online to include DerbyCity Vette and Wilcox. They all look the same to me; anybody purchase them recently?

I'm looking for just the smoked/dark glass, not mirrored. Appreciate any info.

Years ago I dealt with http://corvettettops.com for my dark smoked glass tops. The guys name is Derek. I'm not sure if he still sells the "Galaxy Glass" tops anymore, but I would call and ask.

Vette(s): 1978 Silver Anniversary L82 4spd (M21) Red Leather. Pace Car is in the hands of a new caretaker.

I picked up a pair from these guys about 7-8 years ago at Carlisle. Mine are smoked acyclic. Will scratch if not careful but much lighter than glass and you ain't gonna break them. Been really happy with them. Had an old non original pair with cracked glass so I got the exchange price.

I bought a full bronze toned top from Astro Tops. I'm not a fan of the fit and finish on the one they made for me, but they were the only one's I could find at the time that made a one piece top.
