I'm about to order new glass for my 78 silver aniversary L82 4 speed and need to figure out the build date for the date coded glass I remember seeing a web site that if you punch in the vin numbers you"ll get your build date any help out there? thanks.

You should be able to determine the build date from the plate in side the drivers door.

Or are you looking for the build date of your Vette to see what the glass should be dated? Check the trim tag or for a "guestimate" go to the NCRS Wisc.Web Site for their birthday calculater.
