Vette(s): 1978 vette with an 80-82 stlye rear end molded in. BW six speed & an L82... for now. Lowered with VBP springs and bilsteins. Polished torq thrust wheels. New paint, audio system, aluminum radiator... Flowmaster and extreme flow exhaust components.
My turn signals went out... Bulbs are all good, brake lights work, night time lights work, 4 way flashers work, fuses are all good. Help! What do I check first? Thanks -Adam

Replace the flasher. There should be one for the hazards and one for signals.

I'm not sure about Corvettes, but there are some cars that have two flasher circuits...one for the 4-ways and one for the turn signals. I know there's a #552 flasher in the console adjacent to the shifter...you might check that. There may be a second flasher at the fuse panel.

Yeah that's right. The 4-way in in the fuse box and the reg flasher (on my 69 anyway) is on the far right hand side under the dash.

OK, so the flasher, I'm a little confused... What does it look like? And where is it? Under the dash? Drivers side or passenger side? In the center console? Near the fuse box? Help! Thanks for the help by the way... and fogive my stupidity. |bouncy|

The flasher looks like a miniature tin can, about an inch in diameter and maybe an inch and a half tall. one plugs directly into the fuse block, and there is another in a clip on the back side of the passenger side dash panel.
