Hello all,

My right turn signal stopped working the other day. I replaced the turn signal relay. Now the right turn signal works. But it is not as bright as the left turn signal. It also flashes slower than usual and when I turn on the headlights and turn on the left turn signal the right tail light goes out. I would really appreciate any help on this.
This is on a 1976 Corvette.

Thanks

My experience when turn signals and brake lights do strange things has been traced back to a grounding problem. Probably will need to get a copy of the wiring diagram to start checking this out.

I’ll check the wiring and hope I find the problem. Thanks

As a quick check just use a length of wire and clips of some sort and run from good ground to the light socket. If it works ok then you know for sure it's a ground problem.

I’ll try the wire and clip. Very simple way of checking for ground problem. Thank you very much for your help!

Your problem could be a bad light bulb in the tail light or front parking light on the side that is not bright and not blinking.

Or the bulb contacts.
