turn signal switch

Vette(s): 1976 restored,new interior,custom paint(purple),body kit,rebuilt engine,trans,upgraded sound system

my turn signal switch went, the lever is limp and won't stay in position, and when I turn the steering wheel I get a clicking, how hard is it to change it out, and get the assembly out. Anybody have any experience

changing one
