How about phillips flatheads? Ya can't see em anyway, they're hidden under the carpet.(I still think they might be 12-24s) These are the type of screws you usually find in the "specialty" drawers at the home improvement places.
You may be right, Mike...dang...you guys are gonna make me go back out, remove a screw, and get me thread gauge out!
It'll have to wait till tomorrow, tho...

Joel, I just did! The rocker panel screws ARE 10-24s. I wasn't able to access the actual strap mount screws cause they're buried under the carpet, but since you pointed out the similarity, I checked the rocker screw.

The guy I bought the car from put a new carpet in w/out those anchors..
so, now I am going to get the stud finder out, find the thread bosses and surgically cut the carpet and figure out the threads.
going to try the 12-24's for starters. Flat head will do under the carpet!
thanks guy's!

I was able to buy new screws that hold on the rocker moldings at a fraction of the price as compared to the local Corvette shop.
They seem to have every type and size nut, bolt or screws.

Hi Jamie,
96softail 2007-12-05 13:49:00
Hope all is well, I tried to call you but your mailbox is full.
I also PM'd you.
I still have not received the screws..
My PM has the address just to verify it's correct.
Maybe they got lost in the mail or returned..
Tom
