Are you talking about inside the car or on the back deck?

Took mine out just behind the arm rest and it is a sheet metal type tread. Philips head, kinda oval with a cone shaped washer. It's also the same type and size of screw that holds my seat backs on, but only about 3/4 of an inch long. The 2 side ones in the back over the wheels, I could not get at so don't know what they are.

Looks like you got a nice car.

The screws in the forward bulkhead, for the center "loop" are indeed sheet metal screws, as that bulkhead is sheet metal. The ones over each of the wheel wells are machine screws. They bolt into inserts, or a backing plate, if you will. They are all Phillips head. I can run out and remove one of mine to see what size it is...

The car needs a few odds and ends, that's one of them.
Got the Vette at a great price, so a little tweaking is in store.
I found some Red straps on Ebay to match my interior also.

And THIS is a closer/different view. I believe the machine screw is 1/4" fine thread...
The black pookie you see on the machine screw is sealant. It keeps water from wicking up the threads into the cabin. Remember, these are directly over the wheels back there!
hth
btw...the machine screw is about 1 1/4" long, and the metal screw is around 3/4"Adams' Apple 2007-10-30 19:59:26

o.k.
Went to True Value.
No Dice.. no 1/4 fine thread.. not even close..
Joel's above are the factory ones..
Anyone know where I might locate the correct screws?
4- fine thread for the rear. 1/4 inch
2- sheet metal for the front.
I don't think the interior kits we can buy at Corvette America etc...
will have those included.
They have interior screw kits for 30 or so bucks.
Does anyone know if they may have the correct screws in the kit??
Thanks
