1969 vette: Trim code ZQ4. What is it? There was another code, not the paint code. L10 <- Whats this # mean?

If the code is on the top of the trim tag - right after the word CHEVROLET then it is the build code for what date it was built on. L10 would be October 10th 1969.

Actually, I posted the wrong date. The ol calculator didn't calculate correctly. When I re-read this post I realized that L stands for December not October. This could mean that you have one of the really late 69's. This was the only year that they continued the build late in the year due to demand. Most of these cars had 1970 motors pulled from the flint line.
