I'll agree with those that say body color for "correct". I've seen them numerous ways for individual preference.

Yep, originals were painted body color. I have the chrome ones and they look really nice. If you click on my name on the left, my other photo shows the front of the car where you can see one that is chromed.

My buddy has a blue 75 that has billet aluminum grills in the rear deck and hood. Looks pretty good on his car. The grills on my car are body colored.
