My 74 does not have this option - and I would do just about anything to get it. My long term plan is to convert my Vette over to have all the modern conviences possible. Power everything, along with cruise control and intermittent wipers. It would seem a prudent choice to install a tilt/tele steering column that has all the stick mounted controls. However I cannot find record of anyone trying or succeeding at this. Is there a major reason for this or just a lack of desire by anyone else? Getting the Tilt/Tele function is critical, the rest is just handy. I've found a few T/T columns for sale from other years, but I don't know what is compatible and what isn't. Any help out there?

I just went to their website and there is no listing for a complete steering column, and that part number comes up empty also. Thanks for the attempt.

If you don't want stock..go to Flaming River..they have them in painted or Stainless. I installed a stainless tilt in my 68 3 yr ago and I'm very pleased. Big improvement over stock.

Thanks for heading me to Flaming River - I looked around their site and it doesn't appear that they do telescoping in their columns. Any chance you know about that? I'm sending them an email also. Problem is that my wife can't reach the pedals with the wheel where it is now, so the tele part is for her. I just need the tilt to make entry/exit easier.

As far as the conversion goes, just take one out and bolt the other in place.
You may try e-bay. I have seen reman and used columns there a few times. Even the used ones are pricy. If you get one cheap you could sent it to someone to get reconditioned. Then you have a good unit, and less dollars. But the swap is easy if it matches the factory unit.

I don't know about the telescoping, but they were helpful & make a top notch product. Not cheap..I think around $600.00 for the stainless-tilt. Alot of Hot Rods use Flaming River.
Good Luck

You probably need to call and talk to someone in person for USED parts. No price in the catalog so no way to order through the web site.
